PRIVACY GUIDELINES

Personal information is information that can be linked to you as an individual. It can be name and contact details, but also a lot of other information that can be linked to you more indirectly. For us, it is important that you know what kind of personal data we process, so that you can protect your rights according to the data protection legislation.

Norske Fjellhus logs the traffic to norskefjellhus.no anonymously. This information cannot in any way be traced back to you as an individual.

COMMENTS

When visitors post comments on the page, the information entered in the comment form is stored in addition to the visitor’s IP address and the visitor’s browser version. This is done to help avoid frivolous comments.

An anonymous text string generated on the basis of your email address (also called a «hash») may be sent to the Gravatar service to verify whether you have an account there. The privacy policy for Gravatar is located here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be visible to anyone associated with your comment.

MEDIA

If you upload photos to the website, please avoid uploading photos that contain information about the location where they were taken (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the page can download and extract such information from images on the page.

CONTACT FORM If you send us an inquiry via one of our contact forms, the information you leave is stored on our servers. The information will only be used to process your request and will be deleted if you contact us and ask for this.

FACEBOOK PIXEL

To show you relevant ads, Facebook offers targeting to users of a website. This is possible because the website has installed a so-called «Facebook pixel» – which collects data from those who visit the website. You can switch off cookies in your browser at any time (as explained above), and you can also ensure that Facebook does not show you ads based on your online habits by opting out here.
